For that, both private enterprises and public entities were surveyed, and it was analyzed the variation produced in the youth unemployment rate since 2007 to 2018, emphasizing the period between the publishing of the Law and 2018, so in this way we could stablish if it had any effect over the decrease of youth unemployment. El siguiente artículo deriva de una investigación en la cual se buscó determinar si la Ley ProJoven funciona al momento de contratar jóvenes en Colombia. Este proceso de indagación se llevó a cabo por medio de encuestas aplicadas tanto a empresas del sector privado como a entidades del sector público, y del análisis de la variación que hubo en la tasa de desempleo juvenil desde 2007 a 2018, haciendo énfasis en el período comprendido entre la publicación de la Ley y el 2018, para establecer si esta tuvo algún efecto sobre la disminución del desempleo juvenil.
