El siguiente artículo deriva de una investigación en la cual se buscó determinar si la Ley ProJoven funciona al momento de contratar jóvenes en Colombia. Este proceso de indagación se llevó a cabo por medio de encuestas aplicadas tanto a empresas del sector privado como a entidades del sector público, y del análisis de la variación que hubo en la tasa de desempleo juvenil desde 2007 a 2018, haciendo énfasis en el período comprendido entre la publicación de la Ley y el 2018, para establecer si esta tuvo algún efecto sobre la disminución del desempleo juvenil.
