| Sumario: | Cheiloschisis and palatoschisis are craniofacial anomalies that have been occurring
with a high prevalence in newborns; hence the importance of their approach for a correct
decision making focused on interdisciplinary interventions that improve the quality of
patients who suffer from them and therefore a better functional performance of some
compromised systems; the purpose of this work was to perform a scoping review for the
approach of pathologies by means of palatorrhaphy and cheilorrhaphy techniques, in
