It is concluded firsthand that, in order to interpret the Deweyan thinking, it is necessary to refer to a philosophicalepistemological category called Experience, which, will come into line with the aesthetics: a quality that –according to Dewey– give shape and substance to the concept of aesthetic experience. La pregunta por el arte es un asunto que, más que a los propios artistas, ha inquietado a psicólogos, antropólogos, historiadores y, sobre todo, entre muchos otros académicos, a filósofos. Es precisamente desde esta última perspectiva, es decir, desde la filosofía del arte, que se analizará dicha pregunta, tomando como base la mirada del célebre pragmatista norteamericano John Dewey.
