Este artículo es producto de la investigación “Creencias de un grupo de trece profesores sobre las condiciones laborales que dignifican y precarizan su profesión”, el cual pretende dar a conocer lo que creen los profesores a través de su propia voz, por medio de la teoría fundamentada como método investigativo, valiéndose de técnicas como: la entrevista semiestructurada, la narrativa autobiográfica y el grupo focal para la recolección de la información. A partir de los datos se construye un análisis que permite reconocer el sentir de los profesores respecto a la labor que desempeñan, para finalmente, mencionar el diseño de una propuesta de desarrollo humano que contribuye a dignificar esta profesión.
