Also, there is a brief description of RFID technology and its components. El surgimiento de nuevas necesidades en el consumo ciertos productos a partir del crecimiento de la población mundial, ha traído consigo la implementación de tecnologías que no habían sido tomadas en cuenta para el mejoramiento de los procesos que implican el control de grandes inventarios dentro de las diferentes industrias. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo mostrar como es el funcionamiento básico de los sistemas de identificación por radiofrecuencias (RF-ID) y las características que influyen en su uso para el control de grandes inventarios. Así mismo, se realiza una breve descripción de la tecnología RF-ID y de sus componentes.
