| description | This research aims to create a children's theater play based on emotions, developed within a theatrical creation laboratory with children aged 9 to 12 from the institutional theater group at Instituto Diversificado Albert Einstein, located in Mosquera, Colombia. The study seeks to understand how the process of creating and performing theater, centered on emotional exploration, contributes to the development of creativity, imagination, and expressive skills in a school context. The project is structured in progressive stages, beginning with a sensitization phase that includes literary and audiovisual references (The Color Monster, Inside Out, and Jack and the Cuckoo-Clock Heart), followed by dramatic play activities guided by open-ended questions that lead participants to create characters and situations. These creations form the basis of a collective dramaturgical proposal, culminating in a public performance for the school community. The research adopts a practice-as-research (research-creation) methodology, which recognizes artistic creation as a valid form of situated and sensitive knowledge production. Data collection is carried out through reflective field journals, audiovisual records, theatrical exercises, and group discussions, allowing an experiential understanding of the creative process.

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo la creación de una obra de teatro infantil basada en las emociones, desarrollada en el marco de un laboratorio de creación escénica en el marco del juego dramático con niñas y niños de 9 a 12 años del Instituto Diversificado Albert Einstein, en Mosquera. El estudio busca comprender cómo el proceso de creación y representación teatral, a partir de las emociones, contribuye al desarrollo de la creatividad, la imaginación y las habilidades expresivas en un contexto escolar. El proyecto se estructura en un laboratorio de creación escénica en etapas progresivas que incluyen una fase de sensibilización mediante referentes literarios y audiovisuales (El monstruo de colores, Intensamente 1 y Jack y la mecánica del corazón), seguida de actividades de juego dramático orientadas a la creación de personajes y situaciones. Estas producciones sirven como base para la construcción de una propuesta dramatúrgica colectiva, que culmina en una puesta en escena abierta a la comunidad educativa. La investigación se enmarca en una metodología de investigación-creación, que considera el acto artístico como forma legítima de producción de conocimiento. La recolección de datos se realiza a través de diarios de campo, registros audiovisuales, ejercicios escénicos y conversatorios grupales, lo que permite una comprensión experiencial del proceso creativo.
