We live in a violent society, and this has also affected our schools. Therefore, schools need to take action to prevent conflict and improve school coexistence; hence it is necessary to deal with education in values. Methodology: The aim of this article is to know the state of the art in the topic of education in values in primary school, as well as the importance teachers attach to this concept. A documental revision of 609 scientific articles published in open source journals from January 2019 to June 2023 has been carried out. The main databases searched were Dialnet, Education Source, Scopus and ERIC, following the guidelines of Prisma 2020. Results and Discussion: Findings show that these articles are mainly qualitative, and the samples include teachers, parents, non-teaching staff, textbooks, children’s books, and document reviews. Regarding the topic of education in values, the articles highlight the importance of teaching strategies, the family, learning resources, and the need for teacher training regarding knowledge. Conclusions: It can be noted that this systematic revision suggests that games and collaborative work are the most used strategies, and the main learning resources are textbooks and children’s stories. Finally, it can be suggested that families are not fulfilling their roles in values formation therefore, primary school teachers require further professional skills to be able to educate in values. |

Introducción: vivimos en una sociedad violenta, situación que ha permeado nuestras escuelas, lo que la ha llevado a reaccionar para prevenir situaciones conflictivas y mejorar la convivencia escolar, para lo cual es necesario abordar la educación en valores. Metodología: se busca conocer cuál es el estado de la educación en valores en educación primaria. Para ello, se ha realizado una revisión documental de 609 artículos publicados en acceso abierto, desde enero de 2019 a junio de 2023, en las bases de datos Dialnet, Education Source, Scopus y Education Resources Information Center (ERIC), siguiendo los pasos de la declaración Prisma 2020. Resultados y discusión: los hallazgos reflejan que el principal paradigma empleado es el cualitativo y las muestras consideradas corresponden a docentes, padres y madres, personal no docente, textos escolares, libros infantiles y revisión de documentos. En cuanto al acercamiento a la educación en valores, la documentación encontrada estima la importancia de las estrategias de enseñanza, la relevancia de la familia, los recursos de aprendizaje y la necesidad de formación o actualización de saberes por parte del profesorado. Conclusiones: a partir de esto, se puede señalar que el juego y el trabajo colaborativo son las estrategias más empleadas, siendo los principales recursos utilizados los textos escolares y cuentos infantiles. Por último, se estima que la familia no está realizando su labor formadora, por lo que el profesorado de primaria aparece como un colectivo que requiere mayores competencias profesionales para educar en valores. Introdução: Vivemos em uma sociedade violenta, situação que tem afetado nossas escolas e as levado a reagir para prevenir conflitos e melhorar a convivência escolar, sendo necessário, para isso, abordar a educação em valores. Metodologia: buscou-se conhecer o estado da educação em valores no ensino primário. Para tanto, foi realizada uma revisão documental de 609 artigos publicados em acesso aberto entre janeiro de 2019 e junho de 2023, nas bases Dialnet, Education Source, Scopus e ERIC, seguindo os passos da Declaração Prisma 2020. Resultados e discussão: os achados mostram que o paradigma principal é o qualitativo, com amostras de docentes, pais, pessoal não docente, textos escolares, livros infantis e documentos oficiais. Quanto ao ensino de valores, a documentação destaca a importância das estratégias de ensino, o papel da família, os recursos de aprendizagem e a necessidade de formação ou atualização de saberes por parte do professorado. Conclusões: as estratégias mais utilizadas são o jogo e o trabalho colaborativo, sendo os principais recursos empregados os textos escolares e contos infantis. Conclui-se também que a família não está exercendo seu papel formador, razão pela qual o professorado do ensino primário aparece como um coletivo que necessita de maiores competências profissionais para educar em valores.
