Its main objective was the isolation of microorganisms with biotechnological potential: in this case, students focused mainly on biofuels and bioremediation. Como parte del proceso de aprendizaje de los estudiantes, la investigación formativa es un factor clave para fortalecer competencias en los futuros profesionales. Por ello en el siguiente artículo se presentan resúmenes de las prácticas de laboratorio en la asignatura Biotecnología ambiental, del programa Ingeniería Ambiental de la Universidad Antonio Nariño. Su objetivo principal fue el aislamiento de microorganismos con potencial biotecnológico: en este caso los estudiantes se enfocaron en biocombustibles y biorremediación, principalmente.
