This year was the thirty-second version, on this occasion eighty-five plays, dances, and performances were presented in ninety-five functions, involving thirty-two stages. Forty groups were from Bogotá, but it also had the participation of twenty-three national groups and nineteen international groups. In addition to the above, seven workshops, book launches, and a poetry recital were held at this women's festival. The closing event was the XII Polyphonic Meeting of Women and Peace in which leaders, artists, and women of all ages had the opportunity to meet, listen to, and recognize each other collectively, taking into account different knowledge and voices, to build proposals for advance peace with women from different countries and territories of Colombia. This meeting aims to reflect on the commitments, priorities, and challenges we have to achieve social, political, economic, and cultural transformations.I had the opportunity to attend ten plays and interview seven women actors, directors, playwrights, and artists, who contribute through art to generate social change. This research has been systematized in my degree work: Theater as an artistic and social language to dialogue against gender-based violence within the framework of the XXXII Festival of Women on Stage for Peace. |

Entendiendo el teatro como lenguaje crítico y posibilitador de paz, asisto al Festival de Mujeres en Escena por la Paz, realizado del 4 al 13 de agosto, creado y dirigido por Patricia Ariza quien consciente de la realidad del país y acompañada por un grupo de mujeres consolida un encuentro que tiene tres factores que lo hacen único e importante para la sociedad: las mujeres, el teatro y la construcción de paz. Este festival cuenta con la participación de mujeres y artistas que buscan generar diálogos entre las artes y la responsabilidad social que tenemos todas y todos como sujetos políticos. El presente año fue la versión número treinta y dos, en esta ocasión se presentaron ochenta y cinco obras de teatro, danza y performance en noventa y cinco funciones, involucrando treinta y dos escenarios. Cuarenta grupos fueron de Bogotá, pero contaba también con la participación de veintitrés grupos nacionales y diecinueve internacionales. Además de lo anterior, en este festival de mujeres se realizaron siete talleres, lanzamientos de libros y un recital de poesía. El evento de cierre fue el XII Encuentro Polifónico de Mujeres y Paz en el que lideresas, artistas y mujeres de todas las edades tuvimos la oportunidad de encontrarnos, escucharnos y reconocernos de manera colectiva, teniendo en cuenta distintos saberes y voces, para construir propuestas para avanzar en la paz con mujeres de distintos países y territorios de Colombia. Este encuentro tiene como objetivo reflexionar sobre los compromisos, prioridades y retos que tenemos para conseguir transformaciones sociales, políticas, económicas y culturales. Tuve la oportunidad de asistir a diez obras y de entrevistar a siete mujeres actrices, directoras, dramaturgas y artistas, que contribuyen desde el arte a generar un cambio social. Esta investigación se ha sistematizado en mi trabajo de grado: El teatro como lenguaje artístico y social para dialogar frente a las violencias basadas en género en el marco del XXXII Festival de Mujeres en Escena por la Paz.
