| description | Introduction: This research aims to determine the incidence of a didactic sequence, with a communicative approach, in the oral production of fantastic stories, of the children of the garden room 2, of the Child Development Center Harvesting Dreams of Puerto Caldas, Pereira and reflect on the language teaching practices of the research teacher. Methodology: For this, a quantitative methodological approach is chosen, with a pre-experimental intra-group design, pretest and Post-Test type. For the collection of information, an assessment grid was designed for the oral production of fantastic stories by 11 boys and girls, based on the following dimensions: Plane of history and Discursive Linguistics. Results and discussion: For the quantitative analysis, descriptive statistics were applied, from which the Working Hypothesis was validated, concluding that the didactic sequence of communicative approach had an impact on the improvement of oral productions of fantastic stories of children. Conclusions: In the analysis, the teacher reflected on the practices and the way to solve eventualities to favor the production processes.

Introducción: Esta investigación tiene como objetivo determinar la incidencia de una secuencia didáctica, de enfoque comunicativo, en la producción oral de cuentos fantásticos, de los niños y las niñas de la sala de Jardín 2, del Centro de Desarrollo Infantil Cosechando Sueños de Puerto Caldas, Pereira, y reflexionar sobre las prácticas de enseñanza del lenguaje de la docente investigadora. Metodología: Para ello, se opta por un enfoque metodológico de tipo cuantitativo, con un diseño preexperimental intragrupo, tipo pretest y postest. Para la recolección de la información, se diseñó una rejilla de valoración de la producción oral de cuentos fantásticos de 11 niños y niñas, a partir de las dimensiones plano de la historia y lingüística discursiva. Resultados y discusión: Para el análisis cuantitativo, se aplicó la estadística descriptiva, a partir de la cual se validó la hipótesis de trabajo, concluyendo que la secuencia didáctica de enfoque comunicativo incidió en el mejoramiento de las producciones orales de cuentos fantásticos de los niños y las niñas. Conclusiones: En el análisis, la maestra reflexionó sobre las prácticas y la forma de resolver eventualidades para favorecer los procesos de producción.
