| description | This presentation shows the interest of a group of researchers to check, analyze and propose a route to widen the B-learning strategy in courses that, due to their characteristics, tend to improve the reading and writing competence of the students of the Bachelor's degrees who belong to the School of Educational Sciences. The academic benefits of the implementation of B-learning is the use of ICT in dynamic and interactive educational environments that promote autonomous, self-regulated and collaborative learning, with virtual or face-to-face meetings. At UNAD, the adoption of b-learning strategy is institutionalized with the 2015 Development Plan onwards, to motivate first-enrolment students, in order to influence retention and permanence levels in the educational system. The strategy is oriented in a determined number of mandatory, elective or highly complex courses. The research focuses on five courses, whose formative aims point to reading and writing processes; two of these courses are mandatory for all students in the professional and technical programs, another one fulfills the dual function of being mandatory for one program and elective for others, and two additional courses that are part of the Virtual Center for Writing, Language and Expression , which do not have the mentioned strategy; this study aims to show the need to widen the strategy to more courses that contribute to the students’ formation. |

La presente ponencia, muestra el interés de un grupo de investigadores en revisar, analizar y proponer una ruta de ampliación de la estrategia B-learning en cursos que por sus características propenden por el mejoramiento en la competencia de lectura y escritura de los estudiantes de las licenciaturas de la escuela ciencias de la educación. Las bondades académicas de la implementación del B-learning esta el uso de las TIC en ambientes educativos dinámicos e interactivos que promueven el aprendizaje autónomo, autorregulado y colaborativo, con encuentros que se pueden dar virtuales o presenciales. En la UNAD la adopción de la estrategia b-learning se institucionaliza con el plan de desarrollo del 2015 en adelante, para motivar a los estudiantes de primera matrícula, con el fin de incidir en niveles de retención y permanencia en el sistema educativo, para ello se orienta la estrategia en un número determinado de cursos obligatorios, electivos o de alta complejidad. La investigación se focaliza en cinco cursos, cuyas intencionalidades formativas apuntan a procesos de lectura y escritura; de estos cursos dos son de obligatoriedad para todos los estudiantes de los programas profesionales y técnicos, otro más cumple la doble función de obligatorio para un programa y electivo para los demás y dos cursos adicionales que hacen parte del Centro Virtual de Escritura, Lenguaje y Expresión, los cuales no tienen la estrategia en mención; con el estudio se quiere evidenciar la necesidad de ampliar la estrategia a más cursos que aporten en la formación de los estudiantes.
