In addition, the teaching staff was faced with the responsibility of continuing with the educational service in a virtual modality and many of them presented difficulties for the implementation of a non-face-to-face education system and to function in virtuality. In this context, the TEC project: technology for educators and the community is created as an ally for Peruvian teachers in strengthening their digital skills. This project has been successfully implemented in two versions in which around 140 teachers were accompanied. Currently, work is being done on adapting the project for educators in rural areas, aware of the diversity of contexts in Peru and the need for an equitable and quality education in our country.

El COVID-19 ha movilizado a las diversas industrias a su digitalización, no siendo el sector educativo la excepción. Además, el profesorado se vio con la responsabilidad de continuar con el servicio educativo en una modalidad virtual y muchos de ellos presentaron dificultades para la implementación de un sistema de educación no presencial y desenvolverse en la virtualidad. En ese contexto se crea el proyecto TEC: tecnología para educadores y la comunidad como un aliado para los docentes peruanos en el fortalecimiento de sus competencias digitales. Este proyecto ha sido implementado con éxito en dos versiones en las que se acompañaron a alrededor de 140 docentes. Actualmente se está trabajando en la adaptación del proyecto para educadores de zonas rurales, conscientes de la diversidad de contextos en el Perú y de la necesidad de una educación equitativa y de calidad en nuestro país.
