Sumario:Background: Endodontic sealing cements have been the subject of study in recent years by numerous researchers and as a result of these investigations new products have been developed, with different sealing properties, but their antimicrobial activity remains unclear, since the results are dissimilar and difficult to compare with each other. In the course of research, it has been shown that the proper choice and application of endodontic sealing cements play a key role in the longterm success of endodontic treatment. It is essential to consider the physical and chemical properties of these materials, as well as the need to individualize each clinical case in order to select the most appropriate sealer cement
