Sumario:This research can be very useful in that it can provide particular ideas about postpartum depression and the mental health conditions that can affect women after giving birth; since it is a real disease that can disrup a person's quality of life and emotional well-being. In this way, the general objective aims to Describe Psychosocial Factors of Postpartum Depresión in Women of the Wayuu ethnic group from the perspective of the indigenous IPS health personnel Kottushi Sao Anaa, from Riohacha. Finally, the research has a qualitative descriptive approach, with a nonexperimental design, that is, the qualitative methodology is based on the collection of data and the analysis and interpretation of information to answer research questions, therefore, it is used. semistructured interviews to obtain a deep understanding of the experiences, perceptions in relation to the population, there were 5 participants, including general doctors and nurses.
