Si bien en los años noventa la formulación de políticas a favor de la inclusión social de la población LGBTI (lesbianas, gais, bisexuales y transgénero) tuvo grandes e importantes desarrollos, más allá de las políticas y marcos normativos, las prácticas de discriminación, señalamiento, exclusión y violencia contra estos sectores poblacionales persisten en la actualidad en la ciudad de Ibagué y la comunidad transgénero,la cual suele ser una de las comunidades más atacadas, por ello el presente estudio tiene como objetivo comprender las representaciones sociales e inclusión, en mujeres transgénero de la ciudad de Ibagué.
