Materias:	Redes sociales, imagen corporal, adolescencia y salud mental Actualmente, los adolescentes dedican gran parte de su tiempo a las redes sociales, con la llegada del internet los internautas dedican cada vez más tiempo a las redes sociales , ya que por este medio les permite tener una interacción social con familiares, amigos, e interactuar con nuevas personas cercanas o lejanas, donde exponen su imagen y su vida a través de fotografías o videos. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo identificar la influencia de las redes sociales en la imagen corporal en los adolescentes de grado 11° en la institución educativa nuestra señora de la consolación, considerando la importancia que tiene el manejo de las redes sociales en la imagen corporal, si estás influencian o no en las adolescentes a partir del modelo de cuerpo ideal que ofrece en las redes sociales, reconociendo si afecta la insatisfacción corporal que pueden presentar algunas adolescentes, alterando o transformando algunas de sus prácticas cotidianas que incidan de manera significativa en su salud mental, esta investigación se ha desarrollado mediante un diseño de investigación cuantitativa es de tipo descriptivo, con diseño experimental, realizado con una muestra de 30 estudiantes de sexo femenino de grado 11°siendo la totalidad de la población, como técnica principal se utilizó la encuesta y como instrumento un cuestionario.

Sumario:	Currently, adolescents dedicate a large part to social networks with the plague of the Internet having become a social digital addiction, since through this means it allows them to have social interaction with family, friends, and interact with new people near or far, where They expose their image and their life through photographs and videos. The objective of this work is to identify the influence of social networks on body image in eleven grade adolescents at the Nuestra Señora de la Consolación Educational Institution, considering the importance of managing social networks on body image if whether or not they are influenced by the ideal body model offered on social networks, recognize if body dissatisfaction has affected, altering or transforming some of their daily practices that significantly affect their mental health, this research has been developed through a quantitative research design, it is descriptive, with an experimental design, carried out with a sample of thirty eleven grade female students, the survey was used as the main technique and a questionnaire as an instrument.
