En el presente proyecto tiene como propósito evaluar el bienestar animal en 11 equinos de la escuela de equitación y polo San Rafael por medio del protocolo “Animal Welfare Indicators (AWIN)”y por medio de un examen clínico general con el fin de resaltar los aspectos positivos y realizar retroalimentación al lugar; a su vez realizar una comparación con la población de referencia que evalúa este protocolo; esto con el fin de brindar un apoyo a la legislación existente y promover la evaluación del bienestar animal en equinos de las diferentes disciplinas que se ejercen en Colombia.
