Sumario:	The general objective of this study is to know the emotional state of the elderly people of the life center program located in the municipality of Anserma Caldas, the collection of information was carried out through semi-structured in-depth interviews (A, Montealegre. F, López, 2023), in addition to the application of the EVEA mood assessment scale test (Sanz, 2001), the research was developed under a qualitative, phenomenological methodological approach, where the focal group consisted of 12 older adults (men and women) of the life center program of the municipality of Anserma Caldas, between 70 and 85 years of age for both sexes, who have a family support network.
