El propósito central de este estudio consistió en llevar a cabo una Auditoría en Seguridad Vial de ciertos componentes que conforman la infraestructura vial, con el fin de evaluar su estado en relación a los usuarios que transitan por el tramo que se extiende desde el PR 10 hasta el PR 16, en el trayecto entre Apia y la Virginia Risaralda. Con el fin de alcanzar este objetivo, se llevó a cabo un análisis exhaustivo del estado actual del conocimiento en el campo, se desarrolló un marco teórico, una metodología de naturaleza cuantitativa y carácter descriptivo, y se realizaron múltiples salidas de campo para alcanzar los objetivos establecidos.
