El propósito de este trabajo de investigación es realizar un diseño y mejora de procesos para la ladrillera medialuna, resolviendo las problemáticas que dicha empresa presenta, las herramientas que se emplearon para solucionar el primer objetivo fueron, un análisis de factor, diagrama de Ishikawa, diagrama de proceso, descripción de herramientas, diagrama de flujo y toma de tiempo, estos fueron los métodos que se utilizaron para la solución del primer objetivo, basándose en lo que se planteó, podemos seguir con los métodos para solucionar el segundo, los métodos escogidos para resolver dicho propósito fueron, un método de Guerchet: este método se utiliza para determinar las dimensiones ideales de un punto de trabajo, el método SLP es un método que no solo realiza el estudio cuantitativo de las dimensiones de la planta, también evalúa cuantitativamente las relaciones entre las áreas de trabajo, De acuerdo a lo anterior, se procede a utilizar el software FlexSim, en el cual se mostrará el diseño del plano actual, y el diseño de planta propuesto, se evalúa la viabilidad económica y la propuesta de distribución por medio de análisis de Costos-Beneficio.
