Este trabajo presenta la historia de David Ortiz Amaya, artista de Circo y formador en el municipio de Chía, a través de la narración de los principales episodios que trazaron el camino en el que hoy se desempeña: el Circo. El enfoque de esta investigación en cualitativo, la metodología la Historia de vida, consistió en recopilar información, sobre el proceso de formación y recorrido artístico de David Ortiz, centrándose en dos categorías principales: "Artista de Circo y Clown" y "Pedagogía del Clown y los Malabares", busca también destacar la importancia de la historia de vida en el contexto académico para el Circo y la relevancia de la pedagogía del Clown y los Malabares en la formación de nuevos artistas.
