in force, to the manipulation of this type of cargo, due the complexity in the logistic processes of
this material it is of great relevance, the research and data processing of its information to the
city of Santa Marta and for the proper company in study. |

La disposición de este proyecto de investigación se estructura de la siguiente forma: en primera instancia, se expone una base teórica que trata sobre elementos fundamentales relacionados con el nitrato de amonio, tales como sus características y peligros, las regulaciones pertinentes, técnicas y tecnologías de manipulación como de su almacenamiento, así como la logística y el transporte necesarios para su utilización; de tal forma, que se describe la metodología empleada en la investigación, integrando el enfoque, el tipo de estudio, la población, la muestra y las técnicas utilizadas para la recolección y el análisis de datos. La presente investigación se enfocará en el análisis y manejo de la carga peligrosa nitrato de amonio en la Sociedad Portuaria de Santa Marta, comparándola con lo establecido en la normativa vigente para el manejo de este tipo de carga, ya que debido a la complejidad en los procesos logísticos de esta mercancía resulta de gran relevancia la investigación y sistematización de la información para la ciudad de Santa Marta y para a empresa en estudio. En este sentido, el objetivo de este estudio será examinar la forma en que se maneja la carga peligrosa de nitrato de amonio en la Sociedad Portuaria de Santa Marta y compararla con las normas actuales que regulan el transporte de este tipo de carga; señalando la complejidad logística que implica este tipo de mercancía, resulta fundamental llevar a cabo una investigación y recopilación sistemática de información relevante para la ciudad de Santa Marta y la empresa objeto de estudio, posibilitando este análisis identificar posibles mejoras en el manejo de la carga de nitrato de amonio.
