Description
Summary:The domestic felines (Felis catus) have a long-life trajectory in human history, having been pest controllers in the past and nowadays, being companion animals in most households worldwide. However, it must be acknowledged that cats still keep and do their task of pest controllers, especially with rodents and they are still allowed to move around freely. Hence, the free-roaming pet cats have been categorized in three levels, according to the environment in which they live and the dependence level they have with humans: feral, semi-feral and stray.
