Summary:In the process of teaching-learning of plane geometry, specifically in the construction of robust meaning of the concept of plane transformations: translation, rotation, axial symmetry and homothecy; is insufficient the recognition of their properties, preventing the appropriation of these concepts. This research is aimed to design of materialized activities through non-routine problems solved within the framework of the phases proposed by De Guzman (1991), the visualization, the representation and heuristics as teaching tools that are based on communities of practice of Wenger (1998) for work with students inside the classroom. This design is intended to promote the construction of robust meanings of each of the transformations in the plane, in the seventh grade students of School “Colegio Nuestra Señora de la paz” by implementing activities formed by pragmatic problems, mathematical and their daily lives, not routine
