The present work is carried out to respond to the problem presented in the company Distribuciones León in the city of Villavicencio/Meta, which immediately requires the implementation of an inventory control system, based on concise strategies that allow real records to be kept. and efficient. The different causes and effects produced by the lack of an inventory control system in the organization are analyzed; This study is carried out from inside the company, with full knowledge of the different areas and the actors involved in each one, conducting interviews on how the performance of each collaborator affects the company's activities. During the analysis it was observed that the problems stemmed from not having a concise answer when asked about a product in the warehouse, and from the operational time wasted trying to keep an empirical count of product inputs and outputs, in addition, there were losses of merchandise, delayed enlistment processes, lack of communication in dispatch, returns, poor purchasing practices, this being a consequence of the absence of inventory control. As a result of the analysis, an inventory control model is proposed from the Excel program, which is composed of 4 modules (entries, inventory, sales and graphical representation). The advantages of this proposal establish that costs related to the problems mentioned above are optimized, in addition, it proposes to carry out a control based on the ABC method, which will allow relating low rotation products and offers the possibility of having real tonnage of inputs and outputs. |

La obtención de utilidades reside en la generación de ventas, ya que son el motor de cualquier empresa. Sin embargo, si la gestión de inventarios no opera con efectividad, es posible que no pueda cumplir con la demanda del producto. Esta situación puede provocar la disconformidad de un cliente, que optará por un competidor, lo que resultará en la pérdida de utilidades y en la credibilidad de la organización. El presente trabajo se realiza para dar respuesta a la problemática presentada en la empresa Distribuciones León de la ciudad de Villavicencio/Meta, la cual requiere de manera inmediata la implementación de un sistema de control de inventarios, basado en estrategias concisas que permitan llevar registros reales y eficientes. Se analizan las diferentes causas y los efectos que produce la falta de un sistema de control de inventarios en la organización; se realiza este estudio desde el interior de la empresa, con el pleno conocimiento de las diferentes áreas y los actores involucrados en cada una, realizando entrevistas de cómo afecta el desempeño de cada colaborador en las actividades de la compañía. Durante el análisis se pudo observar que los problemas partían de no tener una repuesta concisa cuando se preguntaba por algún producto en el almacén, y del tiempo operativo desperdiciado intentando llevar un arqueo empírico de entradas y salidas de productos, además, se presentaban perdidas de mercancía, procesos de alistamiento demorados, incomunicación en despacho, devoluciones, malas prácticas de compras, siendo esto, consecuencia de la ausencia de un control de inventarios. Como resultado del análisis, se plantea un modelo de control de inventarios a partir del programa Excel, el cual está compuesto de 4 módulos (entradas, inventario, ventas y representación gráfica). Las ventajas de esta propuesta establecen que se optimizan costos relacionados a las problemáticas mencionadas anteriormente, además, plantea llevar un control 7 basado en el método ABC, el cual permitirá relacionar productos de baja rotación y brinda la posibilidad de tener arqueo real de entradas y salidas.
