description	The present analysis of forest cover change present in the geographical area of the department of Guaviare, Colombia, through a multitemporal analysis of deforestation two years before and two years after the signing of the final peace agreement signed in the year 2016 between the guerrilla of the FARC EP and the Colombian State, 2014 - 2018, which identifies the hectares and areas in deforested polygons in the department. These data were obtained from the official information of IDEAM, the methodology used for its analysis was the calculation of the annual deforestation rate, deforestation maps for the years of study and the calculation of the statistical relationship of the deforestation polygons in the years before and after the peace agreement, showing that for the years 2016-2018, 71,957 hectares of forest were deforested in the area, which represents an increase in the deforestation rate of 348% compared to the years 2014-2016, these figures show that multiple factors such as the lack of state control, changes in land use such as livestock, illegal crops can become determining factors in the rate of deforestation in Colombia.

El presente análisis de cambio de cobertura de bosque presente en la en él are geográfica del departamento del Guaviare, Colombia, a través de un análisis multitemporal de la deforestación dos años antes y dos años después de la firma del acuerdo final para la paz suscrito en el año 2016 entre la guerrilla de las FARC EP y el Estado Colombiano, 2014 – 2018, que identifica las hectáreas y áreas en polígonos deforestadas en el departamento. Estos datos fueron obtenidos de la información oficial del IDEAM, la metodología utilizada para su análisis fue el cálculo de la tasa de deforestación anual, mapas de deforestación para los años de estudio y el cálculo de la relación estadística de los polígonos de deforestación en los años pre y posacuerdo de paz, arrojando así que para los años 2016-2018 fueron deforestadas 71.957 hectáreas de bosque en la zona, lo que representa un aumento en la tasa de deforestación del 348% con respecto a los años 2014-2016, estas cifras demuestran que múltiples factores como la falta de control estatal, cambios de usos del suelo como ganadería, cultivos ilegales pueden llegar a ser factores determinantes en las tasa de deforestación en Colombia.
