Sumario:	The objective of this research was to identify the influence of family dynamics on the academic performance of the students of the Carlos Alberto Camargo Educational Institution of the municipality of Hatonuevo, La Guajira. For the development of this research, the Oslon's Circumplex model was taken into account, which allowed through categories such as cohesion, flexibility, communication and family satisfaction, as well as other sub-categories, to understand the family dynamics of the population sample of this study
