| Summary: | Lubrication systems in industrial compressors used in the natural gas industry represent a challenge for every company in the area of mechanical maintenance. Equipment out of service, working hours due to unscheduled repairs and economic losses due to stoppages in the production, transportation and distribution of gas, is proof of the lack of a structured maintenance program.
The purpose of this degree work is the development of the maintenance protocol for the lubrication system of the ARIEL JGM compressor installed in the Sardinata Sur gas production plant.
Ecopetrol located in the municipality of Tibú Norte de Santander. The protocol presents practical maintenance strategies recommended by the manufacturer and proposals made by specialized personnel with experience in lubrication systems who have been working in the plant for several years and performing maintenance on this equipment and are familiar with the different models that exist in the plant. .
The information that is delivered in the protocol is the appropriate methodology for the maintenance of the lubrication system, observing personal and environmental safety standards and the physical protection of the equipment during its operation; this information was taken from the manufacturer's technical manuals and recommendations.
Finally, the maintenance protocol for the ARIEL JGM compressor lubrication system is delivered; made up of modules that contain specific information that the technician must know and follow to carry out maintenance in an ideal way, taking into account the technical part, personal safety and environmental protection. |
