Esta iniciativa nace de las oportunidades de mejora detectadas por el autor de esta investigación, a lo largo de su vida laboral en las instalaciones de la Refinería y que, para efectos de estandarizar procesos, los resultados de esta investigación podrían ser replicados en la Refinería de Barrancabermeja. Para esto, es importante mencionar que el desarrollo de dicha propuesta conlleva en un primer escenario, la realización de un diagnóstico del estado actual de la gestión de los inventarios de los lubricantes que se utilizan en la Refinería para la lubricación de la maquinaría, así mismo, la aplicación del método de clasificación ABC para inventarios el cual permite priorizar la gestión de inventario. Por último, se propondrán estrategias para mejorar la gestión y control de los inventarios de los lubricantes en la Refinería.
