| Summary: | The present work presents an analysis of the impact of Industry 4.0 in different
accounting fields of microenterprises in Santa Marta, identifying strategies used in
processes that use economic sectors of the city, the scope and knowledge about this
industry. However, known as the Fourth Industrial Revolution or Industry 4.0, it has
revolutionized business operations. Therefore, they are forced to compete in an
environment, new technologies can further analyze the business drivers, using knowledge,
an analysis can be obtained which will serve the organization as a competitive advantage.
In this sense, the accountants evolve to be a strategic group of the organization, in the sense
that the daily and process-oriented roles will be reduced. This work will be carried out in
the micro-enterprises of the city of Santa Marta, seeking to analyze how these have been
affected by the new global trend of industries 4.0 focused on the accounting area and
included in the period of 2019-2022. For this, all the information regarding the use of
technological tools will be characterized, currently used by micro-enterprises in the
accounting sector of the city of Santa Marta. Seek to define the tools that currently exist
thanks to Industry 4.0, data management is modified, which are of great support to financial
processes within MSMEs, talk about each of the programs that are found and begin to
