En Colombia, el desplazamiento interno forzado es una problemática que ha acompañado a su población a lo largo de la historia. La violencia ejercida por grupos armados, el narcotráfico, el abandono del estado, una democracia fallida y el intento de poder alcanzar una paz estable y duradera han sido testigos de los miles de víctimas que han dejado en el camino. Según datos del Sistema de Información sobre Derechos Humanos y Desplazamiento – SISDHES - 82.846 personas fueron desplazadas entre enero y noviembre de 2021, siendo este año la cifra más alta de víctimas de desplazamientos forzados desde la firma del Acuerdo de Paz.
