For this, the quantitative methodology was used, the operationalization of the objectives was carried out and through data collection instruments such as checklists and speed and photographic records, the field work was carried out, the most important findings show that there is no correlation between the Indices of road accidents and compliance with the standard of the audited variables, it was evidenced that although these present failures and inconsistencies, they do not affect the accident rate, what could be evidenced is that the behavior and improper actions of the users are the cause of her, thus speeding and not keeping a safe distance, occupy the first place and in second place is overtaking closing.

En este trabajo se desarrollo la Auditoría en Seguridad Vial al tramo Obando-Zaragoza desde el Km 57 + 000 al Km 66 + 000 a la señalización, barreras de contención vehicular y diseño geométrico que componen la vía, para determinar su condición frente a los actores viales que por ella circulan. Para ello se utilizò la metodología cuantitativa, se realizo la operacionalizacion de los objetivos y mediante instrumentos de recoleccion de datos como listas de chequeos y registros de velocidad y fotográficos se realizò el trabajo de campo, los hallazgos mas importantes muestran que no existe correlación entre los índices de siniestros viales y el cumplimiento de la norma de las variables auditadas se evidenciò que aunqué estas presentan fallas e inconsistencias no inciden en la siniestralidad, lo que si se pudo evidenciar es que el comportamiento y las acciones indebidas de los usuarios son los causantes de ella, así el exceso de velocidad y no mantener distancia de seguridad, ocupan el primer lugar y en segundo lugar esta adelantar cerrando.
