Description
Summary:This research seeks to delve into issues related to the financing of mental health and the health results obtained with the financial resources used, in terms of progress and compliance with the goals defined for the components of promotion, prevention and comprehensive care for the mental problems and disorders of the Colombian population between 2016 and 2019. To do this, a search of the scientific literature was carried out in different databases such as PubMed, Redalyc, Google Scholar, Scielo, among others, from which advanced documentary research, comparison and classification of bibliographic references, as well as the integration of sources and organization of evidence in thematic sections that collected everything related to the proposed topic and finally the quantitative results were presented with their respective analysis and reflections on the information in the thematic sections. It is concluded that in the analyzed period there was not a complete execution or the most efficient management of the allocated financial resources and neither were the results in mental health planned by the health authorities to guarantee the effective enjoyment of this right to the Colombian population, for which some recommendations are made for the main actors involved in the problem treated.
