| Sumario: | This paper aims to make a diagnosis of the development process of the city,
with the ultimate goal, to identify social, economic and environmental problems that have been
presenting in the city of Ibagué. Therefore, it implies a recognition of the process in
that the city has been urbanized, and analyze the conflicts that are reflected in the territory and that
intended for the expansion of the city.
The research identifies characteristics, elements and variables in adopted areas and
approved for the development of new planned designs of the city and determine the
strategies for the improvement of the current and future territory, with the aim of proposing new
solutions that result as an annex or changes to the current regulatory model of urban development |
