The purpose of the analysis is to identify some research contributions that allow us to have a general understanding of how these "complex topics" are being addressed in the literary text, the role of the adult and to inquire about the ideological and cultural perspectives in these reflections. Finally, we reflect on the contributions of gender and intercultural perspectives in children's literature, as well as some relationships that arise with the educational context. En esta monografía de compilación se realiza un análisis de artículos publicados en los últimos 18 años, que presentan reflexiones sobre la literatura infantil con temáticas polémicas como género, afro y violencia. El propósito del análisis es identificar algunos aportes teóricos que permitan tener una comprensión general sobre cómo se están bordando estas temáticas polémicas en el texto literario, el rol del adulto y el niño, e indagar sobre las perspectivas ideológicas y culturales en estas reflexiones. Finalmente, se realiza un acercamiento a los aportes de las perspectivas de género e interculturalidad en la literatura infantil, al igual que algunas relaciones que surgen con el contexto educativo.
