| Sumario: | This research aimed to describe the relational dynamics and coping strategies used by fathers and
mothers with schoolchildren and adolescents to Maintain Coexistence in Times of Confinement
by COVID 19. The method is qualitative with a narrative design. The technique to collect the
information was a free interview. In the analysis and discussion it was found that the changes in
the relational dynamics were minimal, being the most significant in relation to the adaptation of
the system; coping strategies were centered on the one hand on dialogue and on the other on
avoidance, they also made use of tools external to the system such as the extended family and
spiritual support based on their own beliefs, finally they focused on adjusting the members to the
new routines that confinement brought about in terms of time and space within the home. |
