Description
Summary:Banana harvesting is an activity that for decades has been carried out mainly by hand in Huila, using tools such as machetes. Currently, damage to the product due to the use of this tool is considered to be 10%, causing low productivity and risk to the safety of the laborer. Existing technologies are expensive and with limited access to steep terrain. To improve these factors, it is proposed to design and build a prototype banana harvester tool on the La Azul farm in Palermo, Huila. The methodology used consists of four stages: requirements, concept design, detail design and construction of the prototype. Using CAD Inventory vers the structural, spring, gripping and cutting system is designed. ion 2021® software,
