La microbiota que permanece en la vulva es beneficiosa ya que su papel es construir una barrera de protección frente a microorganismos potencialmente patógenos susceptibles de producir infecciones y problemas vaginales y uterinos. El objetivo del presente estudio fue determinar la similitud de la microbiota de la vulva y tracto vaginal de yeguas destinadas para reproducción.
