| Sumario: | The objective of this document is to identify the role that the railway sector has had in the
development of competitiveness in Colombia in the last ten years (2014-2021). To achieve this
objective, a review of the State of the Art was carried out, consulting 31 studies that have
analyzed the relationship between competitiveness and the iron sector, published between 2014
and 2021. Of these 3 focused on competitiveness where transport and logistics infrastructure was
addressed. 3 studies on rail transport indicating advantages such as technologies that make it
possible. 23 directly analyzed the rail sector considering its history, evolution, projects, causes of
its underuse or lack of operation of sections and 2 focused on the intermodal system that involves
rail transport |
