| Sumario: | Taking into account everything caused by the pandemic in the mental health of human
beings, the present study arose with the need to describe the level of state anxiety - trait that
children in 5th grade of the El Carmen Ecological Educational Institution present. the city of
Riohacha, due to the return to post-confinement face-to-face classes, for this purpose, a
quantitative and descriptive study was developed, which included the participation of 24
students, who, once informed consent was signed by their parents, the STAIC instrument short
version was applied to them; From this application, a higher prevalence of trait anxiety was
found in minors, however, it was also found that the type of state anxiety: 5.8% have a low level,
63.5% have an average trend level, 11.5% have a low level. average, 19.2% have a level above
average, while 0.0% have a high level, for which the authors developed a proposal in order to
reduce said levels. |
