This fabric was established as a narrative tool to communicate the generational memory in many families that keep the culture alive. It is thanks to weaving that today events from antiquity are known, which, if they had not been captured between the threads, would have been lost with the passing of generations, the decline of orality and the death of traditions.

El ser humano tiene el don y la capacidad de contar historias, al hacerlo se hilan sucesos del pasado, se teje la narrativa y se visibiliza la memoria. Así se identifica la colectividad, la oralidad y la escritura que han sido por mucho tiempo los medios más comunes para la comunicación. Este tejido se constituyó como una herramienta narrativa para comunicar la memoria generacional en muchas familias que mantienen viva la cultura. Es gracias al tejido que hoy en día se conocen sucesos de la antigüedad, que, de no haberse plasmado entre los hilos, se habrían perdido con el pasar de las generaciones, la decadencia de la oralidad y la muerte de las tradiciones.
