| Sumario: | This design project was carried out based on a social problem caused by the elderly,
which consists of the loss of progressive physical and mental health, due to this peculiarity the
relatives choose to adapt the environment to their needs or in in the worst case, they opt for the
partial or total abandonment of this person.
To provide a partial solution to the problem, the creation of the design of a geriatric
center is established based on qualitative research and governed by the bases of bioclimatic
architecture and geronto-architecture.
