| Sumario: | The present work consists of preparing an improvement plan for the inventory management of the GYPLAC S.A plant through the implementation of the barcoding system in the production and logistics areas. Interviews, direct observation and pertinent documentation offered by the company were carried out, in which the shortcomings that are occurring due to the lack of implementation of the system in its entirety were determined and the proposal of the improvement plan for the use of this technology was made. And finally, some recommendations were given for managers to take into account whether they consider the implementation of the improvement plan viable. |
