El presente trabajo investigativo, consiste en el diseño de la viabilidad de un plan de Importación de una Planta purificadora de Agua hacia el municipio de Ariguaní, Difícil departamento del Magdalena. La problemática resulta de la escases de Agua Potable en el municipio requiriendo traer el preciado líquido desde otras poblaciones, la investigación se realiza con el fin de conocer que tan viable resulta efectuar la compra de las maquinas en el exterior debido a la falta de oferta de este tipo de bien de capital en el territorio Nacional, otorgando la descripción del producto y sus características, analizando los mercados potenciales siendo así el país de Estados Unidos el mercado más viable con respecto a la compra de la Planta purificadora brindando resultados positivos en la operación donde se detalló el Proceso de Importación y logístico.
