description	In the present research, the Fiscal Performance Index in 6 specific municipalities of the department of Boyacá, which are Sogamoso, Nobsa, Duitama, Paipa, Tunja and Tuta in a period of time comprised between the years 2015 to 2020, where, we will analyze the results in terms of the IDF and Statements of Financial Position with reference to the disparity between municipalities and cities in terms of the criteria evaluated by the National Planning Department, it should be noted that the methodology of this research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Within it, different frameworks will be found, such as the conceptual one, where different concepts will be found to help in the understanding of this research, as well as the theoretical and legal frameworks, where the first will contain information on the IDF and its criteria, and the second will contain the legislation that governs public administration, national development plans and others that are relevant in each municipality. Finally, the results will be presented, which will be obtained from the analysis of the financial situation statements of each municipality by means of graphs and tables, on the other hand, the analysis of the results of the IDF between 2018 and 2020 will be taken into account.

En la presente investigación, se plantea como tema central el Índice de Desempeño Fiscal en 6 municipios puntuales del departamento de Boyacá, los cuales son, Sogamoso, Nobsa, Duitama, Paipa, Tunja y Tuta en un periodo de tiempo que se comprende entre los años 2015 a 2020, en donde, se analizaran los resultados en materia del IDF y Estados de Situación Financiera con referencia a la disparidad entre municipios y ciudades en cuanto a los criterios evaluados por el Departamento Nacional de Planeación, cabe resaltar que, la metodología de la presente investigación es de tipo cualitativa con un enfoque descriptivo. Dentro de ella se encontrarán diferentes marcos, como el conceptual, en donde hallarán distintos conceptos para la ayuda del entendimiento de esta investigación, de igual manera encontraran los marcos teórico y legal, en donde, el primero contendrá información en materia del IDF y sus criterios, y el segundo contendrá la legislación que rige a la administración pública, los planes nacionales de desarrollo y demás que sean pertinentes en cada municipio. Por último, se expondrán los resultados, los cuales, se obtendrán del análisis de los estados de situación financiera de cada municipio por medio de gráficas y tablas, por otro lado, se tendrá en cuenta el análisis de los resultados del IDF entre los años 2018 y 2020.
