information provided by the institution was used according to emerging needs, therefore, a
survey was used to determine the use of social networks in order to subsequently apply the
instrument that measures group identification. The results indicate that there is no correlation
between the use of social networks and the group identification of adolescents, in this way
the statistical data allowed to confirm the research hypothesis Ho regarding greater use of
social networks does not improve group identification, then it is evidenced that there is no
relationship which demonstrates that group identification increases, then the greater use of
social networks is not necessary to strengthen adolescents to increase a better relationship in
the group. |

El presente estudio de investigación tuvo como objetivo general analizar el tipo de relación existente entre el uso de las redes sociales y la identificación grupal de los adolescentes del grado 11 en la ciudad de Buenaventura. Este se realizó con el método cuantitativo con diseño no experimental, de corte transversal. Para dar respuesta a lo planteado en el documento se utilizó la información brindada por la institución de acuerdo a las necesidades emergentes, por consiguiente, se utilizó una encuesta que determina el uso de redes sociales para así aplicar posteriormente el instrumento que mide la identificación grupal. Los resultados indican que no existe correlación entre el uso de redes sociales y la identificación grupal de los adolescentes, de esta manera los datos estadísticos permitieron confirmar la hipótesis de investigación Ho por lo que respecta a mayor uso de redes sociales no mejora la identificación grupal, entonces se evidencia que no existe una relación la cual demuestre que aumente la identificación grupal, entonces no es necesario el mayor uso de redes sociales para fortalecer a los adolescentes de incrementar una mejor relación en el grupo.
