The general objective of the present study was to analyze the motivational need that
predominates in the students of the tenth and eleventh grades of the Bahía de Buenaventura
Educational Center. This was carried out with the quantitative method, the type of study used was
descriptive-exploratory, the sample was comprised of 44 students from the tenth and eleventh
grades of the Bahía de Buenaventura educational center. The information was collected through
the sociodemographic survey, which responded to the first specific objective of the research;
Therefore, the motivational needs scale in adolescents (EM1) was used, in which it was obtained
that the motivational needs that predominate in students of the tenth and eleventh grade is the
need for power, followed by achievement and ending with affiliation. Finally, it should be noted
that the need for recognition, even if it is not part of the scale, also has a significant percentage in
relation to the motivational needs of the students. |

Con relación al último acontecimiento que han pasado a nivel mundial con base a la pandemia del COVID-19, que causo cambios a nivel general en todos los aspectos de la vida, esta investigación quiso ver como estaban las necesidades motivaciones de los adolescente de los grados decimos y once del centro educativo Bahía de Buenaventura, ya que regresaban a las clases presenciales después de estar un gran tiempo adaptándose a otras metodologías de aprendizaje desde el campo virtual desde cada uno de sus hogares. El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo general Analizar la necesidad motivacional que predomina en los estudiantes de los grados décimo y once del Centro Educativo Bahía de Buenaventura. Este se realizó con el método cuantitativo, el tipo de estudio utilizado fue el descriptivo-exploratorio, la muestra fue comprendida por 44 estudiantes de los grados decimo y once del centro educativo Bahía de Buenaventura. La recolección de la información se dio por medio de la encuesta sociodemográfica, el cual daba respuesta al primer objetivo específico de la investigación; por consiguiente, se utilizó la escala de necesidades motivaciones en adolescentes (EM1) en el cual se obtuvo que la necesidades motivacional que predomina en los estudiantes del grado decimo y once es la necesidad de poder, seguida por la de logro y terminando con afiliación, Por último, se debe resaltar que la necesidad de reconocimiento aunque no haga parte de la escala también tiene un porcentaje significativo con relación a las necesidades motivacionales de los estudiantes.
