Sumario:At present, research in the field of health sciences has been oriented to understand the complexity of the functioning of the human body, from its aspects anatomical and biomechanical, which were conditioned by the passage from the quadruped position to the standing. Based on this, the researchers have been interested in adapting and adjusting biomechanically the various structures in a way that allows optimal functionality of areas of the body. Thus, and understanding that the "cervicodorsal region is one of the areas more prone to suffer trauma derived from their incorrect use in the activities of the daily life ”(Marcos et al., 2010, p. 89). This is how, from the point of view of dentistry, professionals have been interested in studying the biomechanics between dental occlusion and posture body, given the different consequences and interrelationships that occur between them and because have evidenced postural problems in more than 90% of patients with malocclusion (Rodríguez et al., 2017). In this same concept, malocclusion is defined as a imbalance between teeth, jaws and their adjacent structures (Novo et al., 2013).
