of interventions for health promotion and disease prevention in view of the
need to develop and reinforce biosecurity plans in order to mitigate and avoid the
number of infections, issues decree 539 of 2020 where the document is located
“Biosafety guideline for the provision of services related to the care of the
oral health during the period of the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) pandemic ”
Our degree work will focus on knowing the protocols for handling
dentistry during the SARS-CoV-2 (covid 19) pandemic based on the systematic review of
articles obtained in different databases. Thus, the present work will allow the execution
safe dental care by students and professionals who specialize in
clinical practices, taking into account the recommendations or guidelines found in
based on scientific evidence to have a clinical-scientific knowledge during practice. |

La crisis sanitaria del virus SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) se ha definido como una problemática a nivel mundial que hasta la fecha no tiene cura y se han implementado diversos protocolos de medidas de control y bioseguridad para la atención en odontología durante la pandemia por el covid-19, donde se pretende proteger al prestador de servicio, personal de apoyo y al paciente. A nivel internacional, el ministerio de salud y protección social en el proceso de gestión de las intervenciones para la promoción de la salud y prevención de la enfermedad en vista a la necesidad de desarrollar y reforzar planes de bioseguridad con el fin de mitigar y evitar el número de contagios, expide el decreto 539 de 2020 donde se encuentra el documento “Lineamiento de bioseguridad para la prestación de servicios relacionados con la atención de la salud bucal durante el periodo de la pandemia por SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19)” Nuestro trabajo de grado se enfocará en conocer los protocolos para el manejo odontológico durante la pandemia SARS-CoV-2 (covid 19) a partir de la revisión sistemática de artículos obtenidos en diferentes bases de datos. Así, el presente trabajo permitirá la ejecución segura de la atención odontológica por parte de los estudiantes y profesionales especialistas en las prácticas clínicas, teniendo en cuenta las recomendaciones o lineamientos encontrados en base a la evidencia científica para tener un conocimiento clínico-científico durante la práctica.
